Pointe is demanding, but constant blisters and pain isn't normal. Pay attention to where the blisters or "hot spots" develop. This is a clue to where friction, too much pressure, excess moisture, lack of padding, or poor shoe fitting is happening. More padding isn't better either though, it makes it harder to feel the floor and makes you more susceptible to rolling your ankles. A simple fix like sewing your shoes differently, adding athletic tape to your hot spots before class, or getting fitted for another shoe can easily fix the problem,
